Sicap Baobab : Saisie de 5,5 kg de chanvre indien , un suspect arrêté par la police de Dieuppeul
The Dieuppeul district police station carried out a successful raid on September 14, 2025, with the seizure of 5.5 kilograms of Indian hemp and the arrest of an individual at Sicap Baobab.
According to Seneweb sources, it all started with reliable information reporting the arrival of a quantity of Indian hemp, destined for a notorious trafficker known as Alpha. The goods were allegedly hidden at the home of CSLTraoré alias Sékou, born in 1987, a trader living in the same place.
A team from the Dieuppeul police then set up a stakeout around the house. When the main suspect appeared, the operation was launched. He managed to escape via the terrace, but his alleged accomplice, CSL Traoré, was arrested on the spot.
A search of the premises uncovered five one-kilogram blocks and half a block of Indian hemp carefully concealed in a bag of rice. In addition, police discovered and seized several items suspected of having been acquired with proceeds from trafficking, including an iPhone 12 Pro, a Toshiba laptop, a Jakarta motorcycle, and a Citroën C4.
During his hearing, accomplice CSLTraoré denied any direct involvement, claiming that the drugs had been stored at his home by Alpha without his consent. These explanations were deemed unconvincing by investigators.
Traoré is currently in police custody for complicity in trafficking Indian hemp, while the search continues for the main suspect, Alpha.

La quantité de drogue qui circule dans notre pays est inquiétante. Forcément sans emploi, c'est tentant de tomber dans la quête de l'argent facile.
