Crime passionnel en Côte d’Ivoire : Un policier abat l’amant de son ex-compagne avec son arme de service
In Ivory Coast, a police officer serving with the Cocody Mobile Intervention Group (GMI) shot his ex-partner's lover, killing him instantly. The tragedy took place in the "Opéra" district of Attécoubé on Thursday, August 14.
Bohoussou Jaurès Famien, fatally injured
The sergeant, who came to see Miss Kouamé Adjoua Parfaite, with whom he was having a romantic relationship, noticed the presence of another man near her. He had a fit of jealousy. A violent altercation ensued. The police officer used his issued weapon.
Bohoussou Jaurès Famien (the lover) is fatally wounded. Kouamé Adjoua Parfaite is then taken to the General Investigations Department.
An investigation opened
When questioned, she explained that her ex-partner, the police sergeant, was not providing for her and their four-year-old daughter. This prompted her to begin another relationship with the unfortunate Jaurès Famien.
An investigation has been opened by the General Investigations Service to shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy, reports Abidjan.net.

Je vais appeler ma copine pour lui demander si elle a entretenu dans le passé une relation amoureuse avec un homme de loi. Si sa réponse est "Oui", j'arrête notre relation aujourd'hui. RIP à la victime.
