Voyage des enfants mineurs : L’aéroport de Bamako communique les nouvelles règles aux compagnies aériennes
In Mali, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has issued new rules regarding the travel of minors. Bamako's Modibo Keïta-Sénou International Airport communicated these measures to airlines and travel agencies in a circular letter dated August 7, 2025.
The document states that parental authorization is now required for minor children.
Unaccompanied travelers under 18 must have signed authorization from both parents. Those traveling with only one parent must present written authorization from the other parent.
Parents with a judgment of exclusive parental authority issued by a family court are not required to show authorization to travel with their minor children, according to the circular note consulted by Maliweb.
