Affaire Kocc Barma : les sombres messages de «Leuk Daour» captés par les enquêteurs

Presented as Kocc Barma's accomplice, El Hadji Assane Demba, arrested on July 27 at the AIBD, as he was preparing to flee Senegal, was placed in custody. He is being prosecuted for, among other things, criminal conspiracy, illegal collection of personal data that violates the privacy of others, and dissemination of images and writings contrary to public decency.

To catch him in their net, investigators from the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC) gathered "quasi-formal technical evidence." According to Libération, which provided the information, among this evidence, the police captured text and audio message exchanges with a formally identified third party, according to the newspaper.

It was the day Kocc Barma was remanded in custody. "Bro, he won't talk, he owes me. He did it, walahi," Demba reportedly said, according to the same source.

"Questioned by investigators about this message they intercepted, he claimed it was a fabrication on his part to reassure his contact," reports Libération. It continues: "The problem: in another audio recording, with the same contact, El Hadji Assane Demba persisted and stated, even citing the name of a lawyer: 'We're calm, walahi Azim.' Asked to explain this audio recording, found on his WhatsApp, the accused invoked his right to remain silent."

He also reportedly remained silent to investigators about his nickname "Leuk Daour," used in his "collaboration" with Kocc Barma for the Seneporno, Babiporno and Boydakar websites, administered by the latter.

"More seriously," according to Libération, investigators found a sex tape of a certain PS on his phone. Why did he store the video? El Hadji Assane Demba "argued that he kept the sex tape for 'personal use,'" the daily newspaper reports.

The newspaper adds: "P.S., she, found by investigators, indicates that the video was taken at Pointe E without her consent."
