TGI Mbour : Sous le poids des accusations et des montants réclamés, la prévenue s’évanouit à deux reprises
The Mbour High Court examined a dispute between two relatives over a land transaction. The defendant had received 4,450,000 CFA francs from the civil party for the sale of a plot of land.
However, the plot in question turned out to be contentious, with two names listed as owners. Having failed to recover her money despite several attempts, the buyer took legal action.
At the bar, the civil party demanded reimbursement of the amount paid as well as 15,000,000 CFA francs in damages.
When the amount was announced, the defendant felt unwell, which briefly interrupted the hearing. Her lawyer, Mr. Deh, considered the amount claimed by the civil party to be "exorbitant" in light of the initial dispute. However, her family repaid 4 million.
After deliberation, the court ordered the defendant to pay 450,000 CFA francs in balance and 1,500,000 CFA francs in damages.
Returning to the courtroom, the defendant again felt unwell and had to be evacuated.

Mais sou nekone 200 000 000 fane leu dieum
A mon avis, sa famille en remboursant 4 millions ne lui a pas rendu service. Elle aurait dû la laisser purger au moins un mois de prison ferme afin qu'elle ne replonge plus. Cette Dame va récidiver en se disant ma famille sera toujours là pour moi.
