Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao : Arrestation d’un individu pour tentative de vente de viande impropre à la consommation
The Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao police station arrested an individual residing in Jaxaay, involved in an attempted sale of unfit meat. This act is considered a form of endangerment.
The incident took place this morning around 7 a.m. at the Diamaguène fairgrounds. The suspect, accompanied by an accomplice currently on the run, arrived on a Jakarta-type motorcycle, transporting a dead, unslaughtered goat that they were trying to sell.
Alerted by an anonymous witness, officers from the Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao police station quickly responded to the scene. Their intervention led to the arrest of the suspect, who was found still on his motorcycle with the dead animal. His accomplice, meanwhile, fled the scene when officers saw him.
Placed in police custody, he admitted the facts and explained that the goat had been picked up earlier that morning in Yeumbeul by his accomplice, who then asked him to transport it to the fairground to sell it.
