Fatick : Un marabout déféré au tribunal pour le viol d'une femme mariée dans la forêt, lors d'un bain mystique
A charlatan named C. Diallo was brought before the Fatick High Court on Friday, August 29, for raping a married woman named A. Ndiaye during a mystical bath session. The victim became pregnant and filed a complaint with the Karang special police station on Tuesday, August 26.
A mother of two and married for eight years, Mrs. Ndiaye was going through a difficult time with her in-laws. Her husband had asked her to temporarily return to her parents' home in the commune of Keur Samba Guèye, while the family tensions eased, according to Seneweb sources.
Convinced that her marital problems had a mystical origin, the wife was put in touch with the charlatan C. Diallo, by her mother M. Cissé.
A ritual that turns into a nightmare
In the village of Samba Nosso where she found C. Diallo, the latter, after a divination session with cowries, promised to resolve her problems and "separate her from the djinns" for the sum of 40,000 CFA francs.
The first two mystical baths took place at the marabout's home. But for the third session, C. Diallo took his client into the forest, on his Jakarta motorcycle, under the pretext of a special ritual under a tree.
The victim's chilling story
"Once there, he asked me to undress. When I refused, he threatened to leave, leaving me with the jinn," the woman said in her complaint. "Finally, to avoid upsetting him, I got naked to bathe. It was in this context that he took advantage of this situation to sleep with me in conditions that I cannot explain precisely. He claimed that this would free me from the possession of the jinn."
After the assault, he threatened her with mystical retaliation if she told anyone.
A pregnancy that reveals the crime
Three months later, Ms. Ndiaye discovered she was pregnant. When she informed C. Diallo of her pregnancy, he gave her a powder to consume for three days to "make the pregnancy disappear." The victim kept the powder without consuming it and gave birth two weeks before filing a complaint.
During his first interrogation at the Karang special police station, C. Diallo denied the facts, claiming that the three baths took place at his home. But after a confrontation with the victim, he finally admitted the facts during a second interrogation, according to Seneweb sources close to the prosecutor's office.
"I took her to a secluded spot in the forest for a mystical bath before sexually abusing her. I admit to having taken advantage of her vulnerability to sleep with her," he confessed to investigators from this unit of the Air and Border Police Directorate (DPAF).
The charlatan acknowledged paternity of the baby boy and sought leniency from the courts, arguing that the two families had entered into negotiations for an amicable settlement. Nevertheless, C. Diallo was brought before the Fatick High Court for rape and charlatanism.

Trop de femmes sénégalaises sont de grosses connasses. Pour un oui pour un non elles vont confier des secrets de famille et autres questions intimes à des inconnus sous couvert de mystique. C'est méprisable.
Il faut commencer par lutter contre le charlatanisme dans les médias pour commencer. Beaucoup de journalistes et animateurs (comme Pape Cheikh Diallo) en font leur fonds de commerce.
J'aurais 2 questions:
1/ Qu'est-ce qui empeche une femme d'etre accompagnee ?
2/ Est-ce qu'il y'a des Charlalentes ?

Quand.j'ecoute nos familles parler, Tout probleme est mystique! C'est dommage avec ce noveau de.credulite dans un pays oû on.doit former plus de.specialistes! Psychologues et autres psychiatres !!
Dans ce pays les charlatans, marabouts, maîtres coraniques ont le beau rôle, pauvres sénégalais-e-s.
