The Bambey urban police station has dismantled the formidable gang specializing in the violent theft of vehicles and livestock, among other things, in the Thiès and Diourbel regions. It was last Friday that Commissioner Albert Ndior's men managed to arrest the gang of three criminals in the DVF district, according to Seneweb sources close to the prosecutor's office. A vehicle stolen between Thiès and Ngoudiane on the night of March 2, 2025, was seized during the police raid.

According to our information, the trio of thieves was the subject of an intense search by units of the Thiès gendarmerie, following several complaints against unknown persons for assault and cattle theft, among other things. The three attackers operated between Thiès, Ngoudiane, Khombole, and surrounding villages of Bambey, where they claimed several victims.

Following the investigation by the Bambey urban police station, the three thieves were presented to the public prosecutor at the Diourbel high court.
