Lamine Diallo, jeune talent de «Sen Petit Gallé», tué par son ami
Lamine Diallo, a 20-year-old young man, succumbed to the knife wound allegedly inflicted on him by his friend A. Fall. Discovered by "Sen Petit Gallé," the Prince Arts label's show that identifies and promotes singing talent among young people across Senegal, Lamine Diallo made a lasting impression despite not being crowned during his two appearances in 2022 and 2023. "Lamine had everything of an artist. His voice, his posture, his stage sense... it was natural for him," says Ngoné Ndour, the founder of "Sen Petit Gallé." Originally from Mbour where he grew up in a modest but united home, Lamine Diallo was the eldest of a "large family" and reputed to be "very close to his mother." A year after his appearance on "Sen Petit Gallé," in 2023, he earned his second year of high school and began studying Modern Literature at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. The Mbourois man would not complete his studies, having been killed by A. Fall, who confessed to his crime before investigators at the Medina police station.
