Les khalifes jumeaux de Sindian élevés au rang d'ambassadeurs pour la paix
Twin caliphs Abdoul Hassan and Abdoul Hassein Badji, spiritual heirs of the venerated Sheikh Ousmane Sountou Badji of Aïnou Salam, the City of Peace, were officially consecrated and elevated to the rank of Ambassadors for Peace by the International Federation for Universal Peace and Interreligious Dialogue. This highly symbolic event took place on August 16 in Paris and brought together worshippers, community members, and international figures.
The distinction, usually awarded to political, religious, customary or associative figures engaged in dialogue and solidarity, today recognizes the spiritual and social role of the twin caliphs.
A repeated mission
By receiving this title, the heirs of Ainu Salam are following a tradition of peace and openness. Their new mission is clear and can be summed up in three essential points.
These are:
- Defend universal peace,
- Participate in reconciliation in Casamance,
- Carry a message of hope for future generations.
Their father and spiritual guide, Sheikh Ousmane Sountou Badji, remains a figurehead for his commitment to peace and interfaith dialogue. Aïnou Salam, known as the City of Peace, in Sindian, remains a symbol of unity and dialogue in the Casamance region and beyond.
Thus, through this international recognition, the twin caliphs become spokespersons not only for their community, but for all humanity in search of peace and brotherhood.

L’islam veut que même quand deux amis voyagent que l’on choisisse un leader. Un des jumeaux né devrait il pas se désister en faveur de l’auteur
