Mbour : le cerveau d’un vaste réseau de drogue dure arrêté avec 430 képas de Kush
After several months of investigations, the Mbour police have dismantled a major drug trafficking network. The main suspect, known as Kamara, was arrested in the city center as he was preparing to deliver 430 kepas of Kush, a particularly popular hard drug.
L'Observateur, which is showing the footage of his arrest, claims that the operation, led by the Central Police Station's Research Brigade, was meticulously planned after three months of shadowing and discreet surveillance. Arrested without resistance, Kamara eventually revealed the identity of his alleged supplier, a certain "Amza," based in Diamniadio, the same source said.
The accused, who was taken into custody, will be brought before the public prosecutor for possession, supply, and sale of hard drugs. Investigators are continuing their investigations in order to dismantle the entire network, which operates between Mbour, Saly, Nianing, and Joal, the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group adds.
