Operation based on precise information
Cross-checking information about international trafficking of Indian hemp between Senegal and Gambia, the police set up a strategic checkpoint at the roundabout called Bata, just at the entrance to the town of Rufisque.
According to information received by investigators, a Jakarta motorcycle driver transporting drugs was due to take this road to transport his loot to Dakar, more precisely to Medina, rue 43, where he regularly resided.
Arrest in flagrante delicto
The police quickly identified the motorcycle and its driver thanks to the precise information provided by the person who reported it. Ordered to stop for a routine check, the suspect was not carrying any driving documents or identification.
A search of his Jakarta motorcycle revealed a 20-liter bottle of yellow oil. Inside this container, which had been cut open and then resealed, investigators discovered four 500-gram packages, weighing a total of 2 kg of Indian hemp.

A. Sène stated that he left Gambia on the morning of Thursday, August 7, after refueling from his supplier, according to Seneweb sources.
Refusal to collaborate on the network
Asked to provide details of the identity, address or telephone number of his Gambian supplier, the suspect categorically refused to cooperate with investigators.
Regarding the final destination of his cargo, A. Sène indicated that he was his own reseller and that he held his sales market in the Medina.
