Vol de médicaments chez Duopharm : cinq complices déférés au parquet

Five men have been brought before the public prosecutor's office for their involvement in the theft of medication from the pharmaceutical company Duopharm. They are L. Mb. Faye (shipper), HF Diandy and JPF Olivera (warehouse workers), A. Sagna (driver), and A. Ndiaye (receiver), reports Libération.

The investigation began after a complaint from Duopharm management regarding the recurring disappearance of expensive medications, including a box of "Amloperin 10 mg," according to the same source.

According to the modus operandi, Faye orchestrated the theft by driving to his workplace while he was on leave, in a borrowed car. He used a colleague's computer to print a fake label, while his alleged accomplices helped him get the package out.

Faye admitted to stealing the box and selling it clandestinely to Ndiaye, who ran an unauthorized shop in Sandaga. The transaction amounted to more than one million CFA francs.

The accomplices initially denied their involvement, but when confronted with the evidence, including CCTV footage, some admitted their role: Diandy let Faye use her computer, Olivera signaled Faye to leave with the box, and Sagna drove the car used for transporting it. All four claimed to be unaware of the package's contents, but without convincing anyone.

Two boxes of medication and the Peugeot DK-5031-BK used in the theft were seized by the police, concludes Libération.

Le sénégalais se plaint du chômage mais dès que tu lui offres de l'emploi, il vole tes produits pour aller les revendre.
