Scandale électoral : Les téléphones ont parlé et révèlent le marché noir des votes à la FSF !
The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) elections of August 2 continue to be the subject of much discussion. One of the candidates, Mady Touré, has filed an appeal to annul the vote, and new revelations have further shaken up the process.
Leaked WhatsApp conversations involving several Senegalese football figures reveal a veritable black market in votes.
Irregularities already highlighted
Mady Touré initially announced his withdrawal from the race after the first round, where he finished second behind Abdoulaye Fall, citing irregularities and corruption. He finally took action after the publication of the official report of August 7, which he considers to be tainted by serious anomalies. Among them, the controversial decision not to count "one vote too many" in order to maintain the official count.
Evidence of corruption on WhatsApp
To bolster its appeal, the Mady Touré 2025 coalition claims to possess compromising evidence. Among the evidence, screenshots of WhatsApp conversations highlight explicit vote-trading:
“Salam, brother, how much do you offer?”
"If he ticks as I sent you a photo and photographed him, I give it right after the vote";
“There are four of us clubs, I’m offering 200,000 FCFA.”

The captures of these exchanges, at our disposal, combined with evidence of financial transfers, fuel accusations of electoral corruption targeting the opposing camp.
This would also explain the tensions on election day, when several members of the MT 2025 coalition denounced the use of phones at the polls. Moreover, photos of the votes were quickly leaked that day, well before the count.
A file before several committees, an imminent decision
The coalition did not stop at the initial appeal. In addition to the Appeals Commission, it also appealed to:
• the Ethics Commission,
• as well as the FSF Disciplinary Commission.
The objective for the Mady Touré camp is to reveal clear violations of the federation's electoral and ethical codes.
The Appeals Commission has five days to make a decision. Its verdict is expected this Friday or Saturday. The decision promises to be decisive for the rest of the electoral process.
If the Commission declares itself competent and upholds the appeal, the election could be a major turning point. Otherwise, the MT2025 coalition reserves the right to bring the case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the final court with jurisdiction over international sports disputes.
