u17
Invited to Morocco for a tournament to prepare for the CAN, the Senegal U17 national team started the competition well. Indeed, for its first match, Pape Ibrahima Faye's protégés corrected Zambia (5-0).
It was Sidi Barham Ndiaye who started the Lionceaux festival by opening the scoring, before offering himself a double, thus putting his team in the clear. Mohamed Faye scored the third goal, before Cheikhouna Sané and Baytir Fall came to make the score heavier. A great start for Senegal, the reigning African champion.
For its next match, Senegal will face Morocco before finishing the tournament against Egypt.
