Ces biais contre l’opinion autour des billets de pèlerinage de la Coalition Diomaye Président (par Mohamed MBOW)
Renowned for its professionalism, the Seneweb platform recently published an article which, in many respects, questions the respect for the principles of balance and rigor that underpin the credibility of the Senegalese press.
Upon reading this article, the reader is confronted with a discursive construct that suggests the existence of an alleged discord within the Diomaye President Coalition, following the allocation of ten pilgrimage tickets to Mecca by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. This presentation of events is based on no verifiable evidence and is more a matter of biased interpretation than objective information.
This is a clear attempt to manipulate public opinion, driven by actors fueled by resentment and the failure of political maneuvers aimed at weakening the majority coalition led by President Diomaye. Unable to stem the growing popular support for this coalition, some are resorting to sowing confusion through falsehoods and unfounded narratives.
Contrary to what has been suggested, the Diomaye President Coalition welcomed the donation of the ten pilgrimage tickets with satisfaction and a sense of responsibility. Beyond their material value, these tickets represent a powerful symbolic gesture, reflecting the President of the Republic's concern and strengthening the coalition's sense of belonging and gratitude.
If the Diomaye President Coalition is drawing criticism, it is undoubtedly because it fully embraces its commitment: strengthening institutions, supporting the president in upholding his oath, and working towards the advent of a sovereign, just, and prosperous Senegal. This stance stands in stark contrast to the individualistic projects that some are still trying to impose.
Despite repeated political setbacks, these same actors seize every opportunity to spread misinformation and use deceptive labels, hoping to erode the coalition's popularity. Since the announcement of the pilgrimage tickets, social media has been the scene of smear campaigns, often disguised behind a discourse falsely claiming to represent a policy of radical change.
It is worth recalling that, the previous year, several recipients of pilgrimage tickets offered by the authorities had publicly expressed their gratitude, without this provoking any particular controversy. This selective indignation reveals an opportunistic stance that cannot be sustained.
Finally, the Diomaye President Coalition now comprises more than 386 political parties and movements. None of these entities, through their legal representatives, has expressed the slightest objection to the list of recipients. Therefore, there is neither internal disagreement nor frustration. The prevailing sentiment remains one of gratitude towards the coalition's president, Bassirou Diomaye Diakher Faye, and congratulations extended to the general supervisor for her leadership.
In the name of ethics, professional conduct and the necessary balance of information, it is desirable that this contribution be brought to the public's attention.

L’argent du contribuable n’est pas fait pour des calculs politiciens la pauvre dame qui se lève à 5 heures du matin pour vendre son poisson 🐟 ou ses 🌽 et qui paie ses taxes est plus méritante que ces politiciens (e) qui fichent rien et profitent du travail des sénégalais pour s’embourgeoiser, le pèlerinage n’est pas une obligation quand on a pas les moyens, volé l’argent des sénégalais pour se genre d’actes est un scandale même le Sénégalais lamda peut porter plainte contre l’état et cette coalition Diomay president pour savoir d’où vient l’argent
Ce torchon de Diomaye 2029 n’y verra que du feu, les Sénégalais détestant la tentative de recyclage de detourneurs de deniers publics, de politiciens opportunistes ayant raté leur vie
