Refus d’évaluations dans certains établissements scolaires : Le ministère de l’Éducation nationale met en garde
The Ministry of National Education has reported in recent days a wave of protests in some schools, where students have refused to participate in the standardized assessments for the first semester. They justify their position by citing the disruptions caused, according to them, by the numerous teacher strikes during the past period.
Faced with this situation, the department expressed its deep regret, believing that this refusal disrupts the normal course of teaching and assessments, considered essential pillars of the education system.
The ministry emphasizes that this type of behavior is likely to compromise the academic and educational path of the students involved.
In a statement, the Ministry of National Education reminds students that participation in assessments is part of school obligations and that "refusal to submit to assessments constitutes a breach of school obligations and exposes the students concerned to disciplinary sanctions".
The ministry also draws attention to the educational consequences of such a decision, particularly the absence of grades, which could have a negative impact on students' academic progress and their career guidance.
In order to guarantee the continuity of the public education service across the entire national territory, appropriate measures will be taken at all levels, assures the ministry, which calls for a return to a calm school climate.
Finally, the department calls upon the sense of responsibility of students, the commitment of parents and educational partners, as well as the mobilization of the entire educational community, in order to preserve the best interests of the school and the future of learners.
