Assemblée Nationale : Cheikh Thioro Mbacké lance des piques voilées au Ministre Abdourahmane Diouf
The question-and-answer session in the National Assembly was marked by the interplay of the deputies. Cheikh Thioro Mbacké notably used his speaking time to launch veiled barbs against Minister Abdourahmane Diouf, without naming him directly, and against MP Pape Djibril Fall.
Addressing Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, Cheikh Thioro Mbacké asked him to carefully "cast" candidates before appointing a minister in the next government.
According to him, it is unacceptable to appoint a minister who does not hesitate to publicly criticize the government to which he belongs. This barb is widely interpreted as being aimed at Minister Abdourahmane Diouf.
In the same vein, the MP also took jabs at his colleague Pape Djibril Fall, accusing him of spreading "false truths" about the floods in Touba.
According to Cheikh Thioro Mbacké, Pape Djibril Fall does so with a certain detachment, even though the previous regime had lied about the amounts spent to eradicate this scourge without the deputy having then deemed it necessary to be publicly indignant.

Pape Djibril Fall doit me payer un droit d’auteur. Je suis le seul à avoir utilisé ce terme contre DIOMAYE, parce que j’étais choqué par son début de mandat et ses premiers pas. Mais Pape Djibril FALL ne sera jamais Président du Sénégal. Un député qui va à l’Assemblée Nationale pour insulter les gens, cela veut dire qu’il n’a rien à dire et n’a aucune maîtrise des dossiers. Quand SONKO était député, il était très percutant maîtrisait énormément les dossiers et c’est à partir de l’hémicycle qu’il a gagné le coeur des Sénégalais et on ne l’a jamais entendu insulter les gens. Khasté ak saga, c’est pour les gordjiguènes ! PDF doit retoutner à l’école !
