Audience avec Sonko : Le Fonds d’Abu Dhabi décline ses ambitions pour le Sénégal
Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko is in Abu Dhabi. He received several delegations, including one from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, led by its Director General, Mr. Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi. The discussions focused on the strategic areas of collaboration between the Fund and the Government of Senegal, the Prime Minister's Office reported.
Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, explained to RTS that the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has been a strategic partner for Senegal since 1978. It has provided some 45 billion CFA francs to the country through structuring projects in renewable energy and rural electrification.
Today, the shared ambition of both states is to establish sustainable economic growth and real opportunities for their populations. "We want to go even further. It was a wonderful audience with the Prime Minister. We were delighted to review our collaboration and look forward to an even better future. We want to exceed the levels of investment previously made," he said.
