Communication du Palais : ce qui va changer
Appointed to replace Ousseynou Ly, Abdoulaye Tine is the new voice of the Presidential Palace. In an interview with L'Observateur, the Minister-Advisor and Spokesperson for the Presidency expressed his desire to implement a more proactive communication strategy focused on truth and transparency.
His plan includes organizing weekly press briefings dedicated to the presidential agenda and ongoing reforms. To delve deeper into technical issues, he intends to "hold thematic briefings (economy, fisheries, land) with ministers for specialized journalists." In parallel, the lawyer wants to "facilitate simplified access to published documents (laws, decrees, reports) via a dedicated portal." He also promises swift rebuttals to fake news, "without aggression, but with evidence."
On the issue of journalist accreditation at the Palace, the head of the "Diomaye-President" coalition argues for a "transparent, technical and ethical" system, validated by an independent commission including media, CNRA and civil society.
