Indemnisations des victimes des événements politiques : Le Conseil constitutionnel a donné son feu vert (Amadou Ba)
The Constitutional Council has upheld the legality of compensation for victims of political events that occurred between March 2021 and February 2024. This is, in any case, the opinion of MP Amadou Ba. In a note published on his Facebook page, the Pastef MP emphasized that this compensation, which will go beyond emergency assistance, will be included in the finance law and must cover all damages. Serious crimes, such as torture and assassinations, remain excluded from the amnesty.

In its decision on the interpretative law, the Constitutional Council validated the legality of the COMPENSATION by the State of Senegal of ALL victims of political events between March 2021 and February 2024.
Indeed, the provision that provides for compensation has not been censored. It states in Article 3 of the law that the amnesty does not prejudice the "RIGHTS OF VICTIMS" to "REPARATION".
This concerns detainees, the injured, the deceased, the tortured, and any other victim who has suffered DAMAGE. This goes beyond the scope of emergency ASSISTANCE provided by the Ministry of Solidarity.
This compensation will be officially passed through the finance law for all victims identified by the ANSD with a scale according to the degree of damage suffered or endured.
Restitutio in integrum… There will be FULL PECUNIARY compensation for all victims and all damages suffered.
THE CRIMINAL LIABILITY OF THE PRINCIPALS, SPONSORS AND THUGS WILL ALSO BE ENGAGED.
The Constitutional Council has considered that crimes of torture, murder and assassination of demonstrators cannot be amnestied.
The State of Senegal, under Macky Sall, was responsible for the damages, the government under Bassirou Diomaye Faye will proceed with the REPAIRS. This is the principle of the CONTINUITY of the State.

Qu’est-ce que PASTEF attend pour le recarder et l’inviter à se taire ou se briefer avant d’intervenir sur des choses sensibles. Après ses propositions de loi calamiteuses il vient encore de nous servir des balivernes qui n’honorent pas du tout le parti
