INSTALLATION DU SECRÉTARIAT EXÉCUTIF APR DÉPARTEMENT DE THIÈS : Les directives du Dr Augustin Tine pour la reconquête du pouvoir
The Alliance for the Republic (APR) party in the Thiès department held its Executive Secretariat ceremony on Sunday, December 21st. This political event saw a strong turnout of party officials and activists from across the department. They came in large numbers to demonstrate their commitment to the APR and reaffirm their support for President Macky Sall's vision.
During this gathering, Dr. Augustin Tine, departmental coordinator of the APR in Thiès, called for mobilization for the upcoming contests.
"First, I would like to warmly thank all the APR officials and activists present here, with a special mention to our comrade Abdou Mbow, for his constant presence and commitment. Your massive mobilization today testifies to your support for the vision of President Macky Sall, a statesman who has profoundly transformed our country, particularly in Casamance, a region that has long been forgotten," said Dr. Augustin Tine.
He also welcomes the presence of Professor Moussa Baldé, sent by President Macky Sall, and Dean Abdou Fall, who remain respected figures of the APR.
The coordinator invites APR leaders and activists to face a new political reality, "with a regime in place which, despite its promises, has yet to deliver anything."
"The speeches that the current leaders made before the elections fooled the Senegalese people, but the awakening is brutal. What was supposed to be a breath of fresh air is now running up against the limits of incompetence," Mr. Tine said.
For him, it is inevitable for the APR to regain power. "The reconquest of power is not only possible, but it is inevitable. But this victory can only be achieved through unity, discipline and rallying together. Only together can we regain the trust of the Senegalese people," he urged his comrades.
Augustin Tine notes that young people, some of whom had turned their backs on their party to support the current president, are returning to them. "These young people realize that President Macky Sall remains the best head of state our country has ever known," he asserts.
The APR prays that President Bassirou Diomaye Faye fully grasps the heavy responsibility entrusted to him by the people. "He is the president of all Senegalese, including those who did not vote for him. He must rise above divisions and govern in the general interest."
