« Macky Sall manque de courage » : Cheikh Bara Ndiaye accuse l'ex-Président de se cacher et de décrédibiliser ses partisans

MP Cheikh Bara Ndiaye, a member of the PASTEF parliamentary group, launched a virulent attack on former President Macky Sall and his supporters. He accused them of seeking to destabilize the current government through political and judicial maneuvers.

"The outgoing government lacks morality, with Macky Sall at the top of the list," declared the parliamentarian, pointing to the former Head of State's strategy.

According to Cheikh Bara Ndiaye, Macky Sall demonstrates a "lack of courage" by preferring to act behind the scenes. "His desire to fight the current government by proxy is directly leading his supporters to prison," he said. "He is not facing up to it, but sending his flock to the front, and in doing so, he is discrediting them," he said.

MP PASTEF particularly criticised the communication from the lawyers present at the headquarters of the Alliance for the Republic (APR), describing it as "clumsy and contradictory".

"When Mr. Amadou Sall realized his mistake, he claimed that the hotels did not want to receive them, which is completely false," he lashed out.

Aïssata Tall Sall was not spared. The former Minister of Foreign Affairs "misunderstood the psychology of the Senegalese," according to the MP. "She thought the Senegalese didn't know what the IMF was and that she could tell them anything. They were seriously mistaken," he added, referring to a question that reportedly surprised her.

Cheikh Bara Ndiaye also criticized Me El Hadji Diouf, believing that the latter "does not understand the subject" of hidden debt.

The parliamentarian then targeted the French lawyer hired by Macky Sall, whom he ironically described as the "devil's advocate" and "Me El Hadji Diouf of France."

"He lacks shame," the MP said, before concluding with a warning: "He should know that the regimes are different: today, he moves freely in Senegal, while his colleague Juan Branco has been imprisoned."
