The wave of resignations has continued since Ousmane Sonko left the Prime Minister's office. The latest is that of Samba Tall Sarr, a mining expert, who announced his resignation from his position as advisor in the office of the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines, where Abdourahmane Diouf is expected to take office imminently.
In a social media post, republished by L'AS, Samba Tall Sarr explained his decision as being based on "personal considerations," citing his desire to remain true to his principles and conscience. The former advisor thanked Ousmane Sonko for allowing him to contribute to public service and stated that he has no regrets, praising the former Prime Minister's vision of transformation for a "sovereign, just, and prosperous" Senegal.
