Poursuites contre Doudou Wade : Les anciens présidents de groupe parlementaire montent au créneau
Former parliamentary group leaders in the National Assembly of Senegal express their deep concern over the legal proceedings initiated against Doudou Wade, former parliamentary group leader, and against the journalist and host of the program "Faram Facce", Pape Ngagne Ndiaye.
The charges against him stem from comments he made during a television broadcast. While not questioning the work of the justice system, the signatories believe this case raises a fundamental issue: the protection of freedom of expression and the right to criticize in a democratic state.
In their statement, these former parliamentary officials reiterate that freedom of expression, democratic debate, and pluralism of opinion are pillars enshrined in both the Senegalese Constitution and the country's international commitments. They warn of a climate they consider worrying, marked by a growing fear of the legal repression of critical speech, particularly among journalists, political figures, and opinion leaders.
"Opinions expressed in the public sphere, when they fall under the category of political analysis, commentary or criticism of government action, cannot be criminalized without undermining democratic pluralism and the vitality of public debate," they argue.
Beyond the individual case, the signatories see this affair as a major institutional issue. They call on the competent authorities to demonstrate restraint and a strong sense of state responsibility, in order to preserve a climate of calm, dialogue, and trust, essential for national cohesion and institutional stability.
The former parliamentary group leaders finally expressed their "fraternal, united and republican" support for Doudou Wade, while reaffirming their commitment to respecting public freedoms and freedom of the press.
Signatories include Abdourahim Agne, Ousmane Ngom, Moustapha Diakhaté, Modou Diagne Fada, Abdou Mbow, Aymérou Gningue, Serigne Cheikh Bara Doly Mbacké and Me Aïssata Tall Sall, the president of the Takku-Wallu group.

Toutes ces organisations, associations et autres lobbys mafieuses étaient créées par les libéraux alternoceurs Wadiens et Mackystes pour continuer à prendre leurs parts du gâteau République et bien profiter du système.
Comme les magistrats corrompus, ils avaient leurs parts dans chaque partage de fonciers dans le pays. Ne trouvez-vous pas bozarre qu'il existe partout dans les zones de Dakar des "cités magistrats" ? Il y'a dans chaque lotissement des parcelles nommées "cités magistrats" données par les fonctionnaires du Domaine uniquement pour corrompre et donner gracieusement des terrains aux magistrats et marabouts au cas ou la situation s'envenime et qu'elle soit portée à la justice là ou travaillent les magistrats qui vont gérer les dossiers et valider tout ce que le fonctionnaire des Domaine avaient distribué, et le marabout lui intervient quand le magistrat n'arrive pas à régler le problème.
Heureusement que Sonko est venu pour mettre fin à toute cette mafia en supprimant tous les privilèges et passes droits dont bénéficiaient ces mafieux !
