PS : plainte de cadres socialistes, Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye jugée en septembre
The Initiative for the Reform of the Socialist Party (PS), a collective of officials and other activists of the said political party, has filed a complaint against Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye, secretary general of the Greens. The complainants' grievances, according to Source A, which provides the information: "the illegal extension of the interim [position of leader of the PS], the confiscation of powers by the National Executive Secretariat [of the party]," among others.
The newspaper reports that Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye, who has led the Socialist Party since the disappearance of Ousmane Tanor Dieng in 2019, has been summoned to appear on Monday, September 1 at 8:30 a.m. before the Dakar High Court, ruling in summary proceedings.
The initiators of the complaint will be represented by Mr. El Hadji Diouf, the same source reported. They believe, according to the same daily newspaper, that "there is an urgent need to reestablish statutory legality and restore sovereignty to regular institutions."
