Réformes électorales : « Vigilance maximale » contre une loi « sur mesure » pour Ousmane Sonko
In his address to the nation on December 31, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye announced major reforms to the Constitution and the Electoral Code starting in the first quarter of 2026. This prospect is already causing serious concern within the political class. Part of the opposition sees it as a maneuver intended to remove the legal obstacles preventing Ousmane Sonko from running in the 2029 presidential election.
The Socialist Party calls for "maximum vigilance"
Contacted by L'Observateur, the spokesperson for the Socialist Party (PS), Abdoulaye Wilane, did not hide his mistrust. While recalling that, since the 1992 Consensual Code, any electoral modification must result from inclusive consultations, he urged democrats to exercise "maximum vigilance." He openly questioned the government's true intentions.
"Is the President of the Republic [...] motivated by a desire to rehabilitate X or Y? Do they want to legislate with their parliamentary majority in order to serve the personal interests of an individual, in disregard of the rule of law?"
The APR denounces a constitutional "manipulation"
The Alliance for the Republic (APR) echoed this sentiment. Saourou Sène, interviewed by the same source, firmly stated that no Senegalese citizen would accept a "tailor-made" law. According to him, the government seems intent on "forcing" a candidacy that the current state of the law would render invalid. He warned that his camp would stand united against any constitutional "intermediary" or "favoritism."
"If anyone tries to cheat the Senegalese Constitution to validate a candidacy, we will stand up to them."
The requirement for a national consensus
Beyond their differences, the Socialist Party (PS) and the Alliance for the Republic (APR) agree on one point deemed non-negotiable: the need for a national consensus. They believe that if the government undertakes "major reforms concerning not only the electoral process but also the Senegalese legal framework" without involving all stakeholders, it alone will bear the responsibility before history. For these parties, only reforms aimed at strengthening democracy and fundamental freedoms will be accepted by the people.

Diomay a bien raison c’est la seule chose qu’il peut faire pour rendre à César ce qui appartient à César il est president et les Sénégalais le respecte mais depuis cette parenthèse de trahison il est désavoué des sénégalais maintenant il peut se représenter la constitution le lui permet mais empêché encore Sonko d’être président les Sénégalais ne l’accepteront pas et on risque de revivre l’horreur qu’on a vécu entre 2021 et 2024 il faut respecter la démocratie

Il faut saisir tout de suite les chefs coutumiers et la communauté internationale.
On a une opposition mole et de salon.
Il faut engager les jeunes de vos partis comme Sonko vous terrorisent avec sa reddition des comptes comme arme de sur place politique contre vous
Arrêtez de de laisser le terrain politique à une supposée brouille entre Pastef qui n’est qu’un leurre
Battez-vous ! Communiquuez via les RS à chaque occasion !
Marchez quelque que soit le nombre !

Ousmane Sonko a déjà voté pour les présidentielles ensuite pour les legislatives, Où etait donc le conseil constitutionnel pour le rendre éligible.

MAIS DANS L’ABSOLU ET SANS ABSOLUMENT TOUCHER À RIEN NI INTRODUIRE DE RECOURS, DE RÉVISION DE PROCÈS MMN,DE CODE ÉLECTORAL…., RIEN ET ABSOLUMENT RIEN NE PEUT EMPÊCHER À SONKO D’ÊTRE CANDIDAT EN 2029 CAR LES 5 ANS DE SA CONDAMNATION SERONT DÉJÀ ÉPUISÉS AVANT LA CLÔTURE DU DÉPÔT DES CANDIDATURES.
ILS SONT ÉTÉ TELLEMENT IMBUS PAR LEUR HAINE ET LEUR NULLITÉ SANS NOM (et moi, j’y vois LA MAIN DIVINE QUI LAISSE TOUJOURS UNE SORTIE À SONKO DANS TOUTES LEURS COMBINES) QU’ILS ONT CONDAMNÉ LE 02 JANVIER 2024 ET DONC LE 03 JANVIER 2029, LES 05 ANS SERONT DÉFINITIVEMENT ET ENTIÈREMENT DERRIÈRE NOUS
S’ILS AVAIENT ÉTÉ INTELLIGENTS, ILS AURAIENT ATTENDU UNE OU DEUX SEMAINES APRÈS.
Il faut modifier les lois injustes et inopérantes.
Une diffamation n'est pas un motif pour éliminer un homme politique en le rendant inéligible.
Une erreur dans une liste ne doit pas être une raison valable pour annuler toute la liste des candidats aux élections législatives.
Les fourberies pour éliminer un homme politique doivent cesser.

SONKO EST LIBRE D’ÊTRE CANDIDAT EN 2029 CAR SA CONDAMNATION DE 5 ANS, SERA PRESCRITE À LA DATE DE DÉPÔT DES CANDIDATURES.
IL FAUT TOUJOURS L’ÉCOUTER AVEC INTELLIGENCE ET PAS AVEC UN MINABLE COEUR DE HAINE QUAND IL DIT QUE PERSONNE ET RIEN NE PEUT L’EMPÊCHÉ D’ÊTRE CANDIDAT.
ET DE TOUTE FAÇON,ON VA ENLEVER LES ARTICLES DU CODE ÉLECTORAL QUI ONT ÉTÉ INTRODUITS PAR LE GROS CRIMINEL POUR UNIQUEMENT ET SEULEMENT KHALIFA SALL A L’ÉPOQUE. CE QUI EST ANTICONSTITUTIONNEL
