Remplacement du Général Mbaye Cissé : Mimi Touré se prononce
General Mbaye Cissé is no longer the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (Cemga) of Senegal. He has been replaced by Vice Admiral Oumar Wade. Mimi Touré, to whom the Head of State entrusted the management of the "Diomaye President" coalition, wished to pay tribute to General Cissé.
“We have learned of the retirement of General Mbaye Cissé, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. On a personal note and as a democrat, I would like to commend his strong sense of republican values during the uncertain times of our nation. May he be thanked for his service and may God grant him health and a very long life,” she posted on Facebook.
