Sécurité alimentaire : Ousmane Sonko dévoile la nouvelle stratégie gouvernementale
On Wednesday, November 26, during the Council of Ministers meeting at the Presidential Palace, Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko placed food, nutritional, and health security at the heart of the government's priorities. He emphasized that Senegal, like many countries around the world, remains vulnerable to multi-sectoral health crises and various socio-economic shocks.
These threats, he insisted, call for constant vigilance from the State in order to protect populations, preserve social stability, guarantee peace and ensure resilient public health.
In this context, the Prime Minister provided specific guidelines for strengthening the government's strategy, based on a comprehensive, integrated, and better-coordinated approach. He particularly emphasized the development of an effective early warning system, enhanced coordination of all sectoral interventions, and structured responses tailored to the needs of the population.
Ousmane Sonko also announced the updating of the National Food Security and Resilience Strategy (SNSAR) to align it with the National Transformation Agenda "Senegal 2050". This updated strategy will be implemented through the Food Security and Resilience Support Program (PNASAR), whose objective is to improve the effectiveness of the response to food crises, while laying the foundations for sustainable prevention.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the institutional anchoring, at the Prime Minister's Office level, of the structures responsible for coordinating these policies aims for greater synergy in public actions, avoiding duplication given the multi-sectoral nature of the issue. He also emphasized a strong territorial approach, led by deconcentrated and decentralized authorities, to better harmonize interventions on the ground.
Finally, Ousmane Sonko instructed the Minister, Secretary General of the Government, to work closely with the sectoral departments to ensure optimal coherence between public policies and the strategy of the Technical Secretariat of the National Food Security Council (CNSA).

Sonko est intelligent, intègre et aime profondément le pays. Il ne démissionnera pas et empechera la transhumance des voyous qui commencent déj;a en encercler Diomaye. qui n'a rien compris du sacrifce consenti par les Sénégalais pour le mettre au sommet. Diomaye se pense plus digne que les morts, les torturés, et les blessés qui ont combattu contre MAcky.
Lui au moins il travaille et on veut l’en empêcher !
