« Yokk thiéré doli gnekh » : les directives de Ousmane Sonko à...
Pastef leader Ousmane Sonko convened the party's leadership at his residence in the Keur Gorgui neighborhood this Friday. According to L'Observateur, this strategic meeting aimed to prepare the new roadmap for the party's first congress, scheduled for June 6. Several key figures were present, including El Malick Ndiaye, Birame Souleye Diop, Yassine Fall, Daouda Ngom, and Ayib Daffé.
According to its sources, the same source reports that the discussions focused in particular on the organization of the congress, the official venue for which has not yet been finalized. However, according to sources speaking to the Groupe Futurs Médias newspaper, "the CICAD venue in Diamniadio is being seriously considered."
This meeting is part of the ongoing internal restructuring undertaken in recent weeks, marked by the appointment of new vice-presidents and a strengthening of the party's leadership. It's a way for the ruling party to continue its "Yokk thiéré doli gnekh" campaign to consolidate its base before the upcoming political elections.
Addressing his lieutenants, Ousmane Sonko stressed the need to "make the congress a success" and to remobilize party members. The Pastef leader also called for "reactivating dormant cells" and "intensifying field operations," including in the most remote areas of the country.
