Thiès : Un tailleur de 19 ans arrêté avec 8 pilules d’ecstasy
The young tailor, Mr. Ndoye, is being prosecuted for drug possession. He was arrested in possession of 8 ecstasy pills (commonly known as "flanges"), and then remanded in custody.
In the dock of the court for flagrant offenses, the defendant admitted to the facts. He stated that he had bought the drugs for 3,000 FCFA from an individual named Bally, in the Angle Serigne Fallou neighborhood of Thiès.
The public prosecutor considered the facts to be consistent and requested the application of the law against the defendant.
The case has been adjourned for deliberation and the judgment is expected soon to determine the young man's guilt in the face of drug possession charges.
