Sécurité routière : Un important dispositif mis en place pour soulager les usagers sur l'autoroute ILA TOUBA
"The most frequent breakdowns noted during this Magal on the ILA TOUBA highway are related to heating and brake issues." This is the observation of the president of the National Association of Mechanics of Senegal.
"This year, for the religious event, we mobilized 75 technicians (mechanics and electricians) around road safety," confides Ms. Bâ Alimatou Ndiaye. "A significant system has been put in place for this Magal Touba 2025, to relieve all users who are in difficulty on the ILA TOUBA highway," reassures Mouhamadou Moustapha Ndao, sales and marketing manager at the highway operating and management company (CEGA).
He explains that it is a safety village that has been in place for several years now. "We are working with the mechanics' associations, which have put in place a significant amount of human and material resources," notes Mr. Ndao. He does not fail to send a message to drivers, to make them aware of the fact that "before taking to the road, it would be wise for drivers to carry out the necessary checks."
