Are we reliving the "Djinné Maïmouna" episode that sowed terror in Senegalese schools a few years ago, particularly affecting young girls? Everything seems to indicate so. This Tuesday, at Mako High School in the Kédougou department, 22 students fell victim to this mysterious phenomenon, forcing staff to suspend classes.
Just when we thought this nightmare was over, a disturbing scene unfolded at Mako High School. In the middle of class, several young girls suddenly lost consciousness, collapsing into unconsciousness for no apparent reason. This wave of unexplained ailments has revived fears of the return of the "Djinné Maïmouna" to this gold-mining town, plunging residents into anguish. Alerted, the gendarmes of the local brigade, under the orders of Commander Thior, quickly went to the scene to carry out the usual investigations. The 22 victims were urgently evacuated to the hospital, where they are currently being treated. Faced with this situation, the educational staff has decided to suspend classes until further notice.
