Yeumbeul : Deux Guinéens arrêtés par la police avec 1,4 kg de chanvre indien
The Yeumbeul-Sud police station's search brigade arrested two Guinean nationals this Saturday around 11 a.m. near the Boune protected forest. This routine operation turned into a major drug seizure with the discovery of 1.4 kilograms of Indian hemp.
Two suspects on motorcycle intercepted
The two individuals arrested were traveling on motorcycles when they were stopped by police officers on a security mission. They are AD Barry, born in 1990 in Guinea and presenting himself as a delivery man, and I. Kamara, born in 1989 in Guinea. Both men live in Keur Massar.
A thorough search of them revealed that the suspects were carrying a considerable quantity of narcotics. The police discovered 1.4 kilograms of Indian hemp carefully distributed in plastic bags that the traffickers had hidden in a backpack, according to Seneweb sources.
This large quantity suggests a large-scale distribution operation rather than simple personal consumption.
A phone that reveals the network
During the security search, investigators found Kamara in possession of a simple telephone that served as a link to his partners during delivery operations. This evidence indicates the existence of an organized drug trafficking network with multiple connections.
Placement in police custody
The two suspects were taken into custody on the instructions of the public prosecutor at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court. This measure will allow investigators to further their investigations and determine the extent of the trafficking network to which the accused belong.
A sector under surveillance
This arrest in the Boune classified forest sector demonstrates the vigilance of law enforcement in this area, which appears to be used as a transit corridor for traffickers. The intervention of the Yeumbeul South Police Station Research Brigade is part of their ongoing mission to combat drug trafficking.

Allons y rek .
