Crise dans les universités du Sénégal : Le Mouvement des étudiants Jëf Jël exprime son indignation
The Jëf Jël Student Movement offers its full and unconditional support to the students on strike for the full and immediate payment of their scholarships. It reiterates that "scholarships are not a favor, but an essential right that guarantees the dignity of the student and is, for many, the only way to continue their studies in a difficult economic climate."
These students reaffirm that "the chronic delay in the payment of scholarships is a breach of the State's commitment and a direct factor of insecurity and anxiety for Senegalese families" and demand from the government "a definitive and immediate resolution of this recurring problem, by ensuring the full payment of all scholarships due".
Furthermore, the movement strongly condemns the Academic Council's authorization for the intervention of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) on the UCAD campus. "This act, if proven, constitutes a serious and intolerable violation of academic freedom, a sacrosanct principle that guarantees autonomy, independence, and freedom of expression within the academic sphere."
The Jëf Jël student movement thus demands the "immediate and unconditional withdrawal of the FDS from campus"; the "full and immediate payment of all scholarship arrears"; "the opening of a frank and constructive dialogue with student representatives, in order to establish a predictable and definitive payment schedule".
The fellow students of former Minister-Advisor Talla Sylla are calling on the relevant authorities to "act responsibly and take concrete steps to defuse this crisis." They argue that "the solution lies not in silence or rhetoric, but in demonstrating swift and just action," and that "a better Senegal is built by respecting its students."

Ceux qui étaient fiers d’être des moutons de Sonko n’ont qu’à continuer à être des moutons. Confier un pays à des médiocres et s’attendre à un développement c’est comme attendre un bateau à la gare ferroviaire.
Pour Bâtir un pays responsable il faudrait d’abord commencer par mettre ses jeunes dans de bonnes conditions .
Vous voulez avoir une jeunesse forte, dynamique, excellente, commencer d’abord à les respecter.

"Mouvement des étudiants Jëf Jël ". La politique au Sénégal est une farce pour certains. Ils rêvent de naître et d'exister par des médias.
Je comprends votre déception face à la perception que certains dirigeants semblent plus préoccupés par le pouvoir que par le bien-être des Sénégalais. C'est un sentiment partagé par beaucoup de citoyens dans différents pays
L'aspiration à des dirigeants responsables, patriotes et réellement dévoués au service public est tout à fait légitime. Cette attente est au cœur de la démocratie.
C'est vraiment dommage qu'un homme comme ne soit pas encore jusqu'à présent écouté.

Nous avons espoir que le jour arrivera bientôt que les sénégalais choisiront la voie de la droiture et de la justice pour aller enfin de l'avant.
