Mbacké : Abdourahmane Diouf lâché par son délégué départemental
Minister Abdourahmane Diouf's Awalé party has suffered another defection. Abdou Salam Lo, the departmental delegate for Mbacké and delegate for the informal sector, has officially resigned from the party. In a letter addressed to his now former president, he notified them of his immediate resignation.
"For four years, I have committed myself with loyalty, determination and a deep sense of responsibility to contribute to the growth and influence of our political party," he writes.
However, he said he was "regretful to note that neither my efforts nor those made for our department have received the expected consideration."
Based on this observation and "after careful consideration," Abdou Salam Lo has decided to end his involvement with the Awalé party. He announces his intention to now dedicate himself "fully to the development of his professional activities," while considering new opportunities.
The former departmental delegate nevertheless wishes to acknowledge the bonds of respect and fraternity forged with the president, while being categorical: "Our political collaboration ends as of today."
