L’Etat fait le ménage dans ses locations : Plus d’une centaine de conventions résiliées !
The Senegalese government is significantly reducing its rentals during this lean period for public finances. The Director General of the State Built Heritage Management Company (Sogepa) provided an update on this matter. Elimane Pouye revealed that "from June 2024 to June 2025, 114 rental agreements were terminated."
This could directly generate savings of more than 3 billion CFA francs. However, with some government departments having been relocated, "the impact in terms of reduced rental costs is ultimately around 1.7 billion CFA francs," said the CEO of Sogepa, speaking to RTS.
